Accelabar Flow Sensor
Bass Instruments' Accelabar® is a new and unique technology that incorporates two differential pressure flow measurement methods. Capable of generating high differential pressures, the Accelabar® provides a broader measurement range, allowing for the precise measurement of gases, steam, and liquids without the need for extensive straight pipe runs. The technology combines a patented toroidal nozzle with the Verabar® average pitot tube. The patented nozzle conditions the incoming flow profile, making it more balanced before directing it to the Verabar® average pitot tube. As the flow velocity increases when it reaches the pitot tube, the resulting differential pressure also increases. This enhances measurement accuracy and extends the measurement range. The Accelabar® offers measurements with an accuracy of ±0.5%. In contrast, other manufacturers' claims of high accuracy may only be valid within a limited measurement range.
